Prolong Pharmaceuticals will develop second-generation biopharmaceuticals through its own research and collaborations. These products may be sold by the company or licensed to third parties for other geographic areas. For companies in the developing world, with only a nascent biopharmaceutical capability, Prolong will provide manufacturing and technical capabilities. The Company's manufacturing facilities and products will be based upon management's core expertise in protein PEGylation technology.

Revenue will be generated through the sale or licensing of biopharmaceuticals, custom manufacturing, raw materials, and consulting R&D activities.

Our Business Strategy
Prolong Pharmaceuticals' business strategy is to use its proprietary know-how, processes and relationships to become the world-leader in developing PEGylated products. The Company expects to create revenues from the licensing of its products to multinational pharmaceutical companies, through the direct sale of PEGylated biopharmaceuticals that it independently develops, and by developing R&D relationships with other biotechnology companies developing therapeutic proteins. Prolong will develop a product pipeline consisting of two major types of products.

First, Prolong Pharmaceuticals intends to take advantage of the current situation in the market where many blockbuster biopharmaceuticals are coming off patent in the near future. Prolong intends to develop PEGylated versions of these biopharmaceuticals over the next several years.

Second, we intend to develop novel PEGylated biopharmaceuticals through our own independent research and development. These products will include a proprietary line of anti-cancer agents, peptide antibiotics and other therapeutic proteins such as AfterShock, developed for the treatment of hypovolemic shock following severe injury.
